Qualifications & Experience
Doctoral qualification in an appropriate discipline, 10 years relevant academic management experience (5 years as Academic HOD), strong research profile, leadership experience.
Skills & Competencies
Strategic planning, quality assurance knowledge, postgraduate supervision, professional registration (if applicable), high academic and professional standing.
Knowledge
Higher education system knowledge (SA and international), leadership and managerial skills.

Masters’ degree.
Experience

Knowledge
Sound understanding of DHET earmarked grants, particularly IEG and SBDP grants; experience in report writing.
