Medical RequirementsBe declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test
Skills– Established personal safety record
– Strong inter-intra-team collaboration skills
– Sound spoken and written English communication skills
– Completion of a machine appreciation awareness programme
– Established problem-solving skills
Responsibilities– Maintains Safety, Health and Environmental practices according to standards and procedures
– Performs prescribed pre-use equipment inspections according to standard pre-start checklists
– Operates the forklift to safely load, offload trucks, and material cars
– Performs end of shift procedures according to standards and procedures
– Adheres to Surface Traffic Management Plan as set out by the mine standard
