Position Purpose
Conduct research and support outputs from community-engaged research and advocacy projects at ISHS
Key Responsibilities
Assist in guiding research agenda, conduct research activities, participate in research interest groups, and develop collaborative research projects
Qualifications
Honours degree or equivalent NQF level 8
Experience
At least 1 accredited research output in the last 5 years OR co-authorship in the last 3 years
Skills & Knowledge
Research Methodology, MS Office Suite, SPSS/Atlas.ti, communication skills, interpersonal skills

Conduct research and support the development of outputs from community-engaged research and advocacy projects at VISARU, focusing on violence and injury.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in guiding the research agenda, participate in research and proposal development, develop funding proposals, engage with research groups, and participate in conferences and publications.

Master’s degree or equivalent NQF level 9 qualification in a relevant field

At least 2 accredited research outputs in the last 5 years OR 1 in the last 3 years

Support research projects by gathering and organizing data for VISARU, focusing on community engagement and data collection.
Key Responsibilities
Support Project Coordinator with logistics, comply with study protocols, obtain informed consent, engage with communities, assist in data collection and transcribing, and maintain records.
